Natural vegetation consists of white pine, red pine, birch, maple, ash, and many varieties of ferns and wildflowers. Wildlife consists of deer, bear, turkey, fox, squirrel, duck, Canadian geese, beaver, coyote, raccoons, owls, bald eagles, woodpeckers, bluebirds, and a wide variety of other song birds. Designated as a wildlife sanctuary by the Audubon International Society.
